Where are we shooting?

We are going to shoot our opening sequence at the media studio in our school.

What have we organized?

we are going to use those props we prepared to decorate the studio to look like the doctor's office.

Why have we made this choice?

For this opening sequence, we only need a small dark room. Most of our shots are extreme close up, so we don't need to find a very detailed abandoned place. Also due to Covid, the best choice is to shoot in school. Apart from the studio, most of the room has wall paper and tables, so we decided to use the studio.

What do we need?

For the opening sequence, in the end the actor who act the clone at the beginning will need to change to his costume to the exactly same costume as the doctor.

We only need to buy one set of clothes because on the clothes we need to pour fake blood and dirts. If we buy two sets we can't make sure that we can make the exactly same dirts and blood. 

For the clone, we only need a jean for him, he will be shirtless in order to show his scars on his body.

What have I done to organize this?

I have went on to Amazon, to see if there is any clothes suit for our sequence. 

Why have I made these choices?

The reason why we pick black hoodie and dark colour jeans is because that the doctor is not doing a legal or right experiment, he is like a villain, so therefore black and dark really suits him. The tone of our opening sequence is really dark, so the dark clothes helps with the tone. 

The apron is because he is doing a medical operation to the clone, so having an apron to cover his clothes and he is not a professional doctor so he doesn't have a lab coat.

- What do we need?

Me and my team members have listed all the props we need together and decided who is going to be in charge of what.

We went through the storyboard, so we won't miss out any props we need. 

- What have I done to organize this?

We try to keep our budget to lowest, so we won't spend a lot on props. When we shoot the sequence, we will make all the props dirty and broken. The setting of the sequence is a rusty underground, so if we buy new props will be a waste.

I am in charge of :

Pens, old towels, book, plastic gloves, plastic bags and other stuff we can get from school.

- Why did we made these choices?

The reason we chose these props is because that when the doctor set up this place, he didn't have a lot of time or money to buy new things. We thought that most of the things in his little underground office is he brought from his home or he picked from trash that he can use. All the props should seem like has been used for a long time, so this is also why we don't buy it from online. 

We will put fake blood and make it dirty, this reflect to our genre, which is thriller. There will be blood and we try to find some dark colours props, because the tone is very dark for this opening sequence.

Why: He has got the killer vibe.

Doctor (hidden face): Fred Deer

Gender: Male

Look: He is not that tall but not short as well.

Age: 17

why: Because he has similar body structure as Freddie.

Who would you cast in the industry and why?

If we do have the budget we would cast Johny Depp because he is quite skinny which makes the face looks sharp and the role he used to play are quite depressed and some villain characters.
